HISTORY
Akasha originally came from Uruk but was married off to Enkil the king of Kemet where they ruled the kingdom with wisdom and knowledge. She had great influence over the king and with the kings blessing she outlawed the then custom flesh-eating of ones relatives, anyone caught breaking this law was prosecuted which normally led to death for the tribe or person responsible for breaking this law. She eventually had two red hair twin sisters arrested for this crime and therefore brought upon herself the wrath of the spirits!
A lot of the people of Kemet had heard about the disturbing incidents that where going on at Khayman's home that they took this as a sign that the gods where punishing them for not eating there family members when they died and so came forth an insurrection that led to Akasha and Enkil being fatally wounded by the insurrectionists. Amel an evil spirit sent forth by Mekare unintentionally went into Akasha to taste her blood but unfortunately for Amel got trapped there and all the wounds on Akasha where healed. She turned Enkil into a blood drinker (vampire) and Amel was no more.
Akasha and Enkil took upon themselves the identity’s Osiris and Isis and made themselves out to be gods and ordered Khayman to retrieve Maharet and Mekare and bring them to Akasha and Enkil for questioning.
Due to wars and different kinds of suffering, Akasha and Enkil where captured and used as a type of fount so that mortals could drain there own blood and become blood drinkers themselves. Therefore Enkil and Akasha lost the will to drink blood and went into a coma-like state which turned them into living stones. During the 1st century B.C. there keeper grew tired of being immortal and looking after Those Who Must Be Kept he put them in sun. Thinking this would destroy them. It didn't and it burnt all blood drinkers around the world giving into the fact that if something was to happen to the queen it would befall all blood drinkers. Later was discovered by the vampire Marius de Romanus he by the request for Akasha took them away from the elders and out of Egypt and to a city called Antioch.
In the 2nd Century Marius relocates them to another sanctuary, he then moves them again in the Middle Ages to a place in Italy, in the 16th century he moves them to Dresden, in the 17th century he relocates them to Greece, and in the late 18th century he moves them to North America, where Akasha and Enkil lay dormant until 1984.
In 1984 (2002: in the movie), Akasha awakes from her coma-like state to the music of the Vampire Lestat, she then does away with Enkil and goes in search for Lestat. During her search for Lestat she incinerated a lot of the blood drinkers and betrays Marius by leaving him near death beneath a heap of ice. Her goal is to slaughter 90% of the male population.
She is destroyed by Mekare (Maharet: in the movie) in 1984 (2002: in the movie) and replaces her as Queen of the Damned.

She was brutally attacked at the hands of insurrectionist who where disappointed by the royal reforms.
MAKER
Amel: this spirit never had a material body and therefore he entered Akasha's and became apart of hers.
