HISTORY

Born in Italy in the 1730s, she spent most of her childhood in Naples.  Until she met and married Marquis de Lioncourt they both moved to France, where they lived in The Castle Lioncourt which was located in Auvergne.  She had seven children with Marquis and one being Lestat.

Lestat was her favorite and you could say kindred spirit, her fear for her son was that he would be grinded down by the rest of the family as she had been.  She gives him a few of her possessions to sell and told him to live a life that he wanted and to go and live in Paris.

In her final remaining year Gabrielle made her trip to Paris to see her son one last time before she died from a disease.  Lestat loving her dearly offered her the Dark Gift and she accepted and she became his devoted fledgling companion.

She stayed with him for ten years and they left Paris and went traveling around Europe, Asia Minor, and Egypt until they parted company.  She leaves Lestat and goes to Africa and lives a solitary immortal life in the African jungle.

She is always aware of Lestat's conditions and is always there if he needs her.  Other blood drinkers aren't keen on her as she is very cold and unfeeling, all that she cares about is her son.

CIRCUMSTANCES OF DEATH
