HISTORY
The de Pointe du Lac family had an Indigo plantation where his father ran it for years until his death and then Louis was given the plantation as he was a male and he was the oldest he ran it without doubt giving his brother anything he wanted except the family plantation, maybe his brother thought that he was crazy or a fool killed himself and Louis family blamed Louis for his younger brothers death. full of grief by this he lost the will to live and went to live somewhere else until he came up against Lestat, and Lestat saw this sadness and wanted to give Louis detachment from this pain offered him the gift of immortality Louis agreed and Lestat turned him into a vampire.
They remained companions for decades and eventually added a new addition to the small Coven in the form of Claudia. Claudia had Louis heart and after Claudia tried to kill Lestat they both fled and went to Paris.
Armand noticing Louis introduced himself and talked intensively about being a vampire and it's advantages. Claudia realizing that she was losing Louis. Begged, no ordered Louis to turn Madeleine into a vampire, he did so and they remained with each other for awhile until the Theatre des Vampires performed there sought of justice and killed poor Madeleine and the ungrateful child vampire Claudia. After being saved by Armand Louis angered and upset for what happened to Claudia sought his revenge by destroying the Theatre des Vampires. Armand knowing what he would do did nothing and they both left Paris.
During the 1920s Louis and Armand returned to New Orleans and Louis being shocked to find Lestat living and he talked to him until he left him. Louis was abandoned by Armand who couldn't take Louis detachment from everything left him.
During Lestat's ill-fated concert stood behind stage just in case of any trouble and that he would protect Lestat as he couldn't bear lose him as well. Louis also witnessed to the defeat of Akasha.
Inconsolable and jealous of both Jesse and Lestat seeing Claudia asks David for help in searching and speaking to Claudia. David enlists the help of the then mortal Merrick to search for her spirit and to help Louis move on. David tells the story behind his and hers relationship and Louis decides he still wants her help and they preformed a ritual that allowed Louis to speak to Claudia. But her spirit was not at rest and she hated both Louis and Lestat for all eternity and harms Louis physically and mentally.
Louis makes Merrick into a vampire, and then goes into the sun to finish it. He doesn't die and he needs the powerful blood of his sire Lestat to heal his wounds.
