HISTORY
Merrick Mayfair is apart of the famous Mayfair family although she has little to do with them. After her Aunt died David Talbot and Aaron Lighter give her the opportunity to become apart of the Talamasca which she agreed. Her education into the paranormal was extensive but she learned more with the help of the Talamasca and had her choice of any school she wanted to go too.
Merrick became good friends with David and often met with him for drinks and eventually asked him to help her finish a mission that she need to finish to stop having nightmares about her deceased family members.
She was utterly devastated when she found out David Talbot had been killed and on in expectation of her body realized what had died in David's body was not David she drew some comfort from that.
She later met up with David after his changing and he asked her to help friend who had to see a spirit of his friend Claudia. Louis fell in love with Merrick and eventually Louis made Merrick into a vampire.
Both Lestat, Louis, David, and Merrick left New Orleans when it became unsafe for them to remain.
Merrick was later called upon by Lestat to help Quinn and his twin brothers’ spirit. After helping Quinn she commits suicide.
