HISTORY
Mona Mayfair was born in New Orleans in 1977 to Alicia and Patrick Mayfair. She became a wiz at computers and had many files on her hard drive of her confessions of her intimacy with other family members.
After Rowan disappeared with the Taltos Lasher she took the opportunity to seduced Michael into having intermit relations which led to Michael's guilt and to Mona falling pregnant with Morrigan Mayfair who was also a Taltos. After the return of Rowan it was deemed that she could no longer have a child and therefore Mona was made heir to the entire Mayfair estate under the strict instructions that First Street was also Rowan and Michael's home.
Mona wanted to continue Rowan's dream of Mayfair Medical, possibly because of guilt she felt for sleeping with Michael and sought Ryan Mayfair to get the operation going to build the medical centre.
When Rowan and Michael went off to avenge Aaron Lighter's murder a cousin came and stayed with Mona their became friends and Mary Jane Mayfair also helped take Mona away from First street to her home to give birth to Morrigan, as Mona was afraid that Rowan and Michael or other family members may hurt her child because of it's Taltos heritage. Mona later returned to First Street with Mary Jane and Morrigan only to later lose Morrigan, who went of with Ashlar to repopulate the Taltos species.
Later Mona developed a rare condition that made her become pregnant quite easily and therefore making Mona weak every time she had an abortion.
She later falls in love with Tarquin Blackwood and spends a lot of time together when he was still a mortal man. During the final days of Mona's life she went to stay with Tarquin because she wanted to die in his arms not knowing that Tarquin was now a vampire and could not see his beautiful Mona decides to give her the opportunity of becoming a vampire! Lestat intervenes and asks if she wants to become a vampire? She accepts and Lestat makes her into one of them for Tarquin so she wouldn't grow to hate him and they could read each other's minds.
After receiving the dark gift from Lestat she is quickly regenerate into her old self before she became ill and weak. Mona seeks the truth from Rowan about her daughter Morrigan. She criticizes Lestat for falling in love with Rowan and slags him off about his mother Gabrielle and his fourth fledgling Claudia. For this reason she is thrown out of the Rue Royale, Quinn follows her to try and cool her down. She eventually apologizes to Lestat and he brings her information on the possible location of her daughter Morrigan the next night Mona, Lestat, and Quinn head out to find them only to realize that Morrigan is dead and that all her hopes of being with her are now gone for good. She bids farewell to Rowan and Michael and tells them that they probably won't see each other again and leaves with Quinn and Lestat. While Lestat is out a vampire visitor aka Khayman comes to Mona and Quinn and invites them to visit Maharet at her home. Quinn and Mona except the offer and leave with Khayman leaving behind an email for Lestat from Maharet.
