HISTORY
He was sent of too Paris to become a lawyer and he became fascinated with the violin and was taught by no other then Mozart himself. After returning to Auvergne he met Lestat and became best friends always going out drinking with each other and eventually hatched a plan to escape the mundane life in Auvergne and travel to the bright lights of Paris. Nicki's music career took off in Paris and he was pretty successful until he was captured by the Children of Darkness: The Paris Coven and mortally wounded.
But thanks to his best friend was saved and turned into a vampire. He grew to resent Lestat for this and left with the demands that he give over his Theatre which Lestat did.
Nicki with a few other vampires established a new Theatre, the Theatre des Vampires and he give up the lead of the newly formed Coven for Armand. Eventually he went into the fire.
CIRCUMSTANCES OF DEATH
Mortally wounded and made into a vampire by Lestat.
