Charlotte Mayfair
-The Third Witch-
After fleeing at the order of her mother Deborah Mayfair, Charlotte Fontenay Mayfair with her husband Antoine Fontenay and their son went to Saint-Domingue. The Fontenay family bought a Plantation and Charlotte named it 'Maye Faire' unlike other plantations where you would find the master i.e. Antoine running the plantation it fell to Charlotte to run and rule over the plantation gaining much respect from everyone even her slaves. Her slaves thought Charlotte to be a witch and they where terrified of her but also respected her for her healing abilities.
Her husband Antoine had a crippling disease and she loved him very much. Although she need and wanted a child that would not inherit her husband’s disease she turned to her attention to Petyr van Abel, who had come at the request of Deborah Mayfair, and even though she knew him to be her father she needed him to impregnate her with a female heir. She drugged him and imprisoned him in a cabin that was on the land of her plantation the 'Maye Faire'. She had no intention of letting him leave until she had become pregnant with a child that would inherit all of the wealth and misfortune that went with the legacy. Eventually Charlotte conceived and she let Petyr go with expressed instructions to Lasher to not harm him, which Lasher ignored. A few days later Petyr's body was found dead and being the only one to really know him she went to ID him at the Port-au-Prince. She never really got over his death and soon after Identifying him she took to her bed in the grief for the man who was her father and the man she loved.
Nine months later Charlotte gives birth to twins Jeanne Louise and Peter Mayfair. Unlike her mother or grandmother Charlotte lived a long and healthily life she was near the age of seventy-six years old when died. Charlotte had five children and seventeen grandchildren. She was always seen wearing the Mayfair emerald till the day she died when it was passed onto Jeanne. The night when Charlotte died there was a massive storm that only surrounded the Maye Faire plantation and it stayed there until morning. This storm is a regular occurrence for the people Lasher served.
