Mary Beth Mayfair
-The Ninth Witch-
Julian Mayfair bestowed all the wealth she could possible want and what was never clear was the fact that he loved her so or was it because the guilt he felt for what he did to his sister Katherine Mayfair. They went on to see private shows in New Orleans to the simple garden walks. It is said that Mary Beth looked more like her grandmother Marguerite Mayfair then her mother Katherine Mayfair.
During the late 1880s Julian took Mary Beth to New York and then onto Europe and in this 2 and half year spell the Mayfair clan in New Orleans was informed by letter that Mary Beth had gotten married to a Scottish Mayfair Cousin and that she had conceived and given birth to a daughter Belle Mayfair. This husband of Mary Beth’s conveniently dies from his tower before the birth of Belle Mayfair. What really happened was that Julian was the real father to Belle and this Scottish Cousin wasn't real. This was around the same time when Julian bought the Donnelaith castle/tower.
Mary Beth was a keen business woman and made the Mayfair's a lot of money and structured the finances enough to keep them going and to keep them making money for years to come. There is only one other person who had been on the same par as Mary Beth was in her day and that is Mona Mayfair.
Mary Beth eventually married Daniel McIntyre and bore three children Carlotta, Lionel and Stella Mayfair.
Mary Beth was present when Marguerite Mayfair died and Katherine place the Mayfair emerald around Mary Beth's neck. Mary Beth died of cancer in 1925.
