Continuing from The Witching Hour, Lasher is book about power, love, and religion as we discover the history behind the menacing Taltos daemon Lasher.  Lasher answers a lot of the questions that where left unanswered at the end of The Witching Hour and it also dives more into the characters of Michael Curry and Aaron Lighter and a more sensitive side to the Taltos clan.

Although this book doesn't have the quality's of The Witching Hour this book does give a good account of itself and a welcome return to the characters we grew to love in the previous novel.  When this book has you it won't let you go until you have finished it and you will be left wondering was Lasher's account of his history true or just a cunning lie to peak the fascination of the Talamasca.

This book delivers all the Anne's fans have expected from Anne in the past and so much more.  Anne's imagination has no bounds; this book is rich, dark, and romantic all in one and will have you wanting more and more.  This book is wickedly irresistible and should be a must read for all fans and new comers alike.
