PLOT

THE MAYFAIR WITCHES FACE AN UNIMAGINABLE NEW THREAT:

The Taltos - the giant race gifted with preternatural knowledge, which breed in minutes and live for centuries.  The race that spawned the monster-innocent Lasher, who give the witches their power and almost destroyed them.

Unknown to the Mayfairs, another Taltos still lives: the legendary Ashlar, who has done and suffered so much down the centuries.  Now a frantic danced speeds them all from the dawn of history and the Dark Ages to high-tech New York, from sensuous New Orleans to Stonehenge and the Scottish Highlands, toward their ultimate fate...

CRAIG'S REVIEW

The final installment of the "Lives Of The Mayfair Witches" trilogy.  Sees in my opinion the Mayfair witches take a more of a backseat role in this novel and mostly concentrating on the Talamasca and St. Ashlar "Mr. Ash". And throwing in a surprise for one of the Mayfair witches.

Although this book does keeps it fast pace movement like its previous installments until chapter thirty-two when the book gets a little disinteresting and becomes slow and a little tiresome.  With leaving two important questions unanswered.

But an end to he negative and more on the positive side.  Anne has the ability to draw you in and make you feel your experiencing all that Michael, Rowan, or Ashlar experience.  I love this quality and I find I've only seen this quality in The Vampire Chronicles and in these books.  This book is essential for your book collection and I would strongly suggest you read it as you will enjoy it.
